Avoid language that is discriminatory, harassing, abusive, or hateful.
Respect people's boundaries and confidentiality.
2. Provide Constructive Feedback
When critiquing others' work, be honest but also constructive. Aim to provide feedback that is helpful, not hurtful.
Remember that behind each piece of writing is a person. Be kind and encouraging.
3. No Spam or Self-Promotion
This community is for growth and connection, not advertising.
All forms of self-promotion, advertising, and solicitation are prohibited.
4. Share Your Content Safely
Maintain a professional and appropriate tone.
Members are required to exercise caution and consideration by providing a clear and conspicuous warning at the beginning of any content that may contain potentially triggering or distressing material. This includes, but is not limited to, topics such as violence, abuse, mental health crises, or other sensitive subjects. The warning should briefly describe the nature of the content to allow other members to make informed decisions about their engagement.
If your content includes any material that is considered Not Safe for Work (NSFW), such as explicit language, sexual content, or graphic imagery, you must precede it with a prominent warning. Additionally, you must verify and ensure that any critique partner you engage with is at least 18 years of age before sharing such content.
Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
5. Protect Privacy
Do not share personal information about others without their explicit consent.
Do not copy content or ideas from any other writer.
