Does this sound like You?
If you're anything like me ...
You know you have a great story, but you’re struggling with a few specific aspects and are seeking targeted strategies to improve your manuscript.
You're in search of a strategic ally who is as passionate about your story as you are — and who can help position your manuscript for success with literary agents and Big 5 publishers.
You’re a ‘go all in, shoot for the biggest dreams’ —Big 5 Publisher, NYTimes Bestseller—type of person. If you’re doing this thing, you want to be doing it right.
I’m So Glad You Found Me.
I know from personal experience just how overwhelming the editor search can be.
You have poured your heart and soul into your story. And now you’re like — what do I do next? Maybe you’re not even sure what needs improving or what kind of edit you need (A line edit? Developmental? Proofread? Don’t worry — I’ll break all of this down for you.)
I know how big of an investment this is — and how deeply vulnerable it is to share your words with someone new.
You want to make sure you’re choosing the right person. Someone who will be as passionate about your story as you are and who will be able to pinpoint the areas that need help — and position your story for maximum success with literary agents.
Friend — I hear you.
I also know just how life-changing the right editor can be. My editor helped guide me from a clueless new writer to a 6-figure author at a Big 5 Publishing house.
And now it is my honor to pair writers with equally life-changing editors.
I can’t wait to hear about your story — and introduce you to the perfect editor to help make your dreams a reality.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What Writers Have To Say About Our Editors
Still Have Questions?
I’ve got answers :)
Feel free to email me at any time with additional questions!
-
I’m happy to discuss this during our initial consultation! There’s no black and white answer — editors can be *helpful* for writers at any stage, but it depends on your budget, goals, and personalized needs. Some writers will work with an editor on multiple drafts; other writers will just be looking for help on their final draft. If that’s the case, then make sure to polish your manuscript as much as you can on your own (and with beta readers and critique partners) before bringing on an editor.
-
Nope! You can bring on an editor at any stage. Our editors also work as book coaches and work with writers as they complete their drafts—assisting with brainstorming, big picture edits, and accountability!
-
Maybe half of you feels like your story is perfect and ready for agents and the other half is like … this story needs a lot of work. Listen, I’ve been there.
That is why our editors will take the time to review your manuscript sample and make a recommendation about which edit will optimize your story's readiness for the competitive world of publishing. We're committed to offering advice that serves your manuscript's best interest and will be transparent about the pros and cons of each available service.
If you are aiming for traditional publishing and have a completed draft, we generally recommend either an editorial assessment or a developmental edit.
-
Our editors have extensive experience working with both traditionally published and self-published writers, and it is common for writers aiming for either form of publishing to work with an editor. If you are aiming for traditional publishing, you want to polish your manuscript as much as possible before pitching literary agents. And if you are aiming for self-publishing, you will also want to polish your manuscript to perfection—since you will be the one in charge of marketing it and finding readers.
-
Of course! You can book complimentary consultations with up to two editors. Additional consultations can be booked for $40.
-
Some of our editors book up months in advance; others are available to start right away. If you are eager to get going immediately, we can generally match you with an editor in 1 week.
-
If you are looking for a book coach to help you as you write, you can start your search at any time. If you are looking for an edit of a completed draft, I generally recommend beginning your search 1-3 months before that draft is finished.
-
Absolutely not. I’d never want any writer to feel like this is a requirement. At the same time, I want to arm you with the information and resources to give your manuscript the very best shot. I’m not going to sugarcoat the truth—landing a literary agent is tough. Only 1% of writers see success. And most literary agents will only review your project once — so if you query your manuscript and get rejected — you can’t go back to that agent with another draft (except in rare exceptions). So I generally recommend that you polish your manuscript to perfection with beta readers and critique partners and multiple drafts — or that you work with an editor. (Or if you’re an overachiever like me .. both :) )
