17-year-old Zelda is an exceptionally talented improv comedian chasing her dream: to be on Saturday Night Live. Landing a spot on the coveted Varsity team at a prestigious improv camp in the mountains of Colorado means she’ll get to perform for professional scouts—including her hero, Nina Knightley. But despite her notable talent on-stage, she’s tested off-stage where she is humiliated and degraded by her all-male team. Even worse treatment comes from Ben, her 20-year-old coach, whose attention is first flattering, but then turns emotionally and sexually abusive. Her life becomes scary in this parentless, leaderless place. And while she has the support of the girls in her cabin, her brother and his boyfriend, and three Boy Scouts at the camp across the road, no one in a position of power will rise to her defense. Zelda wants to fight back. But is sacrificing her best shot at her dream too heavy a price to pay?
