I am seeking representation for my novel, Siren Queen. I believe this book may interest you due to your past work in fantasy, especially fantasy that deals with identity, history and the intersection of the two.
Siren Queen is set in a somewhat familiar 1930s Los Angeles. Luli Wei, a Chinese-American aspiring actress, risks everything to become an immortal star in a Hollywood run on Fairyland rules. She has allies in the form of a king of the silver screen and a captive Scandinavian monster, but ranged against her are vengeful directors, stories that never included someone like her, and her own dangerous ambitions.
I've been published at Strange Horizons, Uncanny Magazine, and Lightspeed Magazine, and I am on the 2014 James Tiptree Honor List.
